"A Night At The Cabaret"

... is a trip back in time to the glory days of the hotel industry in Lakewood, NJ!

"The Last of the Lakewood hotel musicians", 

Jimmy Givens, 

will recreate an evening of what life was like in the hotels, in the 1960's through the 1970's, and you will meet some of the musicians and entertainers who made Lakewood {and the Catskills} such an appealing vacation resort!

"A Night At The Cabaret"

is coming to a venue near you! שלום

If you ever spent time in any of the hotels, this tour will bring back a lot of memories! If you never knew Lakewood back in the day, you will be enlightned!

Vine Ave. in Lakewood, NJ!

Showtime is promptly at 7:00 pm!

{otherwise you won't have anywhere to sit}

Showtime is promptly at 2:00 pm

On Monday, December 12, 2016, I am honored to receive my GOLD CARD from the American Federation of Musicians Local #399 ~ Asbury Park, NJ. The President of Local 399, Mr. Dorian Parreott will present me with my GOLD CARD which will make me a LIFE MEMBER!   I joined the Federation on December 14, 1970 ~ that's 45 years of continious membership in our local! 

This will be a ~ "MEGA-EVENT of EPIC PROPORTION!" Mr. Ray Hair, President of the AFof M, has been invited! This will be a CATERED affair {so at the right time R.S.V.P's will be required in order to have enough food} ~ this event will be VIDEOED and local media will be notified! While the snacks are flowing, I am looking forward to all my brothers & sisters of Local #399 to be there because we will be JAMMIN' ~ ALL AFTERNOON, so bring your instruments {drums and keyboards will be there}! ;-)

The "Asbury Park Musical Heritage Foundation All-Star Jazz Band"

under the direction of

Dorian Parreott will be performing Big Band favorites for your dancing and listening pleasure on the Asbury Park Boardwalk {@ 5th Ave.} in front of Tim McCloone's Supper Club on Thursday, July 11th from 7:00pm - 8:30pm.

In the event of inclement weather, an alternate indoor site will be posted!
